Built to Conquer Challenging Missions
With top and bottom protection covers, as well as an extra thick palm rest and touchpad cover, it’s purpose-built to withstand intensive field use. No matter the obstacles, the B360 FLM remains steadfast, ever-ready for the battle when it matters most.
Precisely Designed for FOD Prevention
Even a tiny piece of foreign object debris (FOD) can have serious consequences on a flight line. B360 FLM has been designed specifically to keep its exterior components intact and in place after drop or impact. All of its external screws have undergone special adhesive bonding to the chassis, making them highly resistant to dislodgement or loosening. Its batteries have also been redesigned with a protective layer of high-quality rubber, most extent minimize the threat of them being dislodged and any potential damage should they be dislodged.
Mission-ready Computing Power
Line maintenance focuses generally on high-pressure tasks, often performed in extreme conditions, while base maintenance involves resolving any number of issues, often on location. Timing is critical. Support may be far away. There are no minor repairs. And there's no room for error, which is why B360 FLM offers ultra-reliable computing power, thanks to its 12th-gen Intel® Core™ processor with integrated Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics, which can support line and base maintenance tasks mostly without freezes, lags, or delay, so technicians and engineers stay focused on the job at hand.
Robust Performance in Any Environment
The B360 FLM is engineered for survivability in military field operations. It is independently certified to MIL-STD-810H, MIL-STD-461G, and IP66 standards to withstand rain, dust, shock, vibration, temperatures from -29°C to +63°C (-20°F to 145°F), and a 6-foot drop, all help to go without interrupting operation. Its touchscreen and touchpad will operate in the presence of rain, snow, and with gloved fingers. And optional salt fog certification is available.
Versatile I/O Options for Diverse Flight Line Maintenance Tasks
B360 FLM offers a diverse variety of I/O ports and connectors, enabling comprehensive connectivity with flight line devices, peripherals, tools, and aircraft systems, including Thunderbolt™ 4 for ultra-high-speed data transfer, HDMI 2.0 for displays, and optional serial, display, or external VGA. PowerShare USB 3.2 enables external charging even with the unit powered off. The onboard expansion slot accommodates PCMCIA Type II or ExpressCard/54. And the media bay accommodates an optional DVD super-multi-drive.
Secures Your Sensitive Data
B360 FLM offers rapid yet secure device access via Smart Card reader-based authentication, backed up by TPM 2.0 and optional Absolute Persistence® security software. And for additional protection of your sensitive data, the unit's PCIe NVMe solid-state drive (SSD) can be removed by the user manually without tools, allowing it to be secured separately during device storage and repair.
