The DA5-M Rugged Military PDA is the first in its size category to offer a large 4” display and available resolutions of 480x640, making the screen 4x’s clearer than it’s 240x320 competitors. With the DA5-M's large display, users experience increased ease of data input and readability.

The DA5-M Rugged Military PDA houses 2x USB 2.0 ports for the fastest connectivity available. With 2 USB’s the DA5-M provides increased device options, as well as quick and easy access in the field. The serial and PCMCIA ports allow military personnel to use the PDA with a CF memory card, a SD memory card, or as a digital camera.

Multiple Operating Systems
We offers the choice of two operating systems for the DA5-M. Capable of operating Microsoft WIN CE. NET 5.0 or Microsoft Windows Mobile, our rugged PDA will arm military personnel with the advanced informational tools necessary to successfully maneuver through mission critical scenarios. Each unit is also compatible with multiple software and hardware systems.

New Intelligence Applications
We have partnered with mobID™ to offer customers the most innovative application yet. For increased security measures, the DA5-M can be equipped with advanced biometric abilities including 2D/3D facial, fingerprint, and iris reading. The PDA can be equipped with voice recognition technology allowing users to access files while conducting other tasks. The device can also be outfitted to capture and transmit video and to read barcodes and smart cards.

MIL-STD 810F Certified
Rugged computers must come equipped to operate under a variety of extreme conditions. That’s why The DA5-M is MIL-STD 810F certified. It is resistant to rain, shock, humidity, vibration, salt fog, altitude, and extreme temperatures. Additionally, units can be IP65 certified, for submersion up to 1M. The combination of MIL-STD 810F and IP65 make this rugged PDA's virtually indestructable.

Additional Options
The DA5-M PDA is available with a secondary 3.7V Lithium-Ion rechargeable smart battery. The PDA cradle is equipped with additional USB ports and charges both the PDA and secondary battery at the same time. The rugged PDA offers options such as GPS, a digital compass, and Bluetooth module for instant access to data. Each PDA can be equipped with voice recognition to allow users’ to access files while simultaneously conducting other tasks.
