Windows Mobile 5 The Ranger's operating system is Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0. Run the Mobile version of all your favorite programs including Power Point and Outlook. Take advantage of the ability to run thousands of software programs designed for this OS. Expansion slots The Ranger's two CompactFlash (CF) slots allow you to add GPS, GPRS, bar-code scanners and other CF devices. Use the Secure Digital (SD) slot to add data storage and SDIO devices. Power Boot Module A lithium-ion battery pack keeps your Ranger going strong day after day. With normal use, the Ranger's Power Boot Module provides 30 hours of power. Recharging time is significantly reduced with the use of lithium-ion batteries—4.5 hours for full recharge and two hours for 80% recharge. Ranger NX Model The Ranger NX gives you another choice in data collectors. By removing the option of expansion slots and providing 128 MB of on-board Flash storage, the Ranger NX becomes an extremely affordable rugged device. Go Wireless You have the option of integrated Bluetooth and 802.11g wireless. The Ranger now comes in two models, the 300X and the 500X, to give you the choice of adding the options you want.
