The Duros™ is a fourth generation, powerful Windows XP-based tablet PC that is designed for the user battling harsh environments. It is sealed to IP-65 levels for dust and water ingress and tested to MIL STD 810F for vibration, functional shock, high and low temperatures and drops.
Equipped with an 8.4-inch brilliant sunlight viewable, SVGA resistive touch screen and an AMD Geode™ LX 800 Processor or Intel Celeron M 1.0 GHz, the Duros™ packs up to 1 GB memory and up to 120GB storage (up to 64GB solid state drive). Its hot swappable battery feature diminishes downtime and provides continuous battery life.
Unlike a laptop, the Duros™ is designed to be carried with you. Ergonomically, the Duros™ is evenly balanced and has a multi-directional handgrip/wrist strap as well as a variety of docking mounts. The vehicle mount transforms the Duros™ into an onboard communication center. From sub freezing temperatures to blistering heat, the Duros™ can withstand extreme conditions. It goes where you go, getting the job done, every time.
