THe DLI 8400 packs an unprecedented number of features into its lightweight, IP54-rated rugged enclosure. Sporting a low-power Intel® Atom processor, up to 2 GB of RAM, shock-mounted or solid state hard drives, and built around an amazingly bright 7” outdoor readable touch-screen display, the DLI 8400 is equipped to go wherever rugged mobile computing tasks take you.

Wireless Communications
Imagine the ability to connect via WiFi, Cellular, VoIP, and Bluetooth® - simultaneously and from a single device. Plus, an external antenna pass-thru port allows the DLI 8400 to communicate seamlessly as the unit transitions in and out of the vehicle cradle.
GPS
A 20-channel SiRFstarIII GPS chip set and integrated Internal Geohelix SMP antenna delivers remarkable global positioning accuracy - bringing location-based capabilities to mobile workers in field service, transportation, government, utilities and other mobile GIS applications.
Magstripe and Contactless Payment
Building upon the 3-in-1 Retail Payment Module, the DLI 8400 integrates a OPOS/JPOS-compliant magstripe reader and an OPOS-compliant contactless (RFID) payment reader.
Barcode Scanner / Imager
Scanning barcodes, capturing signatures, and tracking assets lies at the heart of any mobile data collection system. With an integrated Honeywell Adaptus® Imager your field workforce can capture more service-enhancing frontline data.
Biometrics
A bezel-embedded biometric fingerprint reader brings validation and security features to the DLI 8400. Perfect for access control, vehicle/location lock-out, advanced time and attendance monitoring, and overall security/identity validation applications.
2 Megapixel Color Camera
Not one, but two CMOS camera capture high quality still images and streaming video - perfect for mobile claims, security, delivery verification, and mobile healthcare applications. Camera features include autofocus and UVC-compliance.
Telematics / M2M
Integrated SAE J1708 and J1939 connectivity allows your enterprise to monitor and collect real-time information from a vehicle's ECU. Add to that GPIO support - both analog and digital - allowing you to record sensor readings including temperature, open/close door, and more. |
